After opening in 2018, we have successfully hosted numerous Bar Mitzvahs and Bat Mitzvahs, with guests always blown away by the PlayZone experience! Our fun, friendly and flexible team will work with you, to ensure your event not only meets but exceeds all expectations!

Our venue is tailor-made to host an unforgettable Bar Mitzvah or Bat Mitzvah, with two levels of action-packed games and entertainment, creating a truly memorable event for you and your guests. With a large variety of exhilarating games, two fully stocked bars and private lounges for adults, there’s truly something for everyone.

Music

Use our house speaker system and play your own play lists or organize your own DJ. There is ample space for a dance floor on each level.

Catering

You’re free to organize any catering you like and bring any food you like. Our staff will put out tables for your food and assist caterers with setting up and serving. Our private room can be used by caters to set up and prepare food. We have spare tables available to set up your catering the way you like.

We are happy to help you organise your catering or recommend some catering options.

*Please note there are no food warming facilities in the venue.

What’s Included:

  • Exclusive hire for 6 hours. 2 hours set up time and a 4-hour event time.
  • All activities on your chosen PlayZone level/levels with staff to run each activity
  • Complimentary soft drinks and juices for up to 150 guests on the upper level or up to 300 guests for the entire venue option.
  • Juices include orange, apple, pineapple and cranberry. Lime and raspberry cordial. Soft drinks include lemonade, coca cola, diet coke, soda water, tonic water, energy drink, dry ginger ale.
  • Bar and floor staff
  • All cleaning

Playzone Upper Level Only up to 150 Guests.
Entire Venue

Have a larger event or simply would like the extra activities for your guests?

For just an additional $1750.00 including GST, you can add the Playzone ground floor.

$5500.00 including GST for entire venue exclusive hire up to 300 guests.

Add Ons

Alchohol

You will have the option to add a bar tab or a pay as you go bar for alcohol your adult guests. We are flexible with our offering! On request, specific drinks can be ordered for your event and served at bar prices.

Non-Alchoholic

On request, specific drinks can be ordered for your event. Only the cost price will be added to your final invoice, no additional charges apply. You are free to bring in any non-alcoholic drinks to the venue which will be served by staff at no additional charge.

Photo Booth

On the ground floor only, for $440.00 you will receive unlimited printed photos with your own branding appearing on the photo and the digital copies provided after your event.

If a photo booth is required on the upper level, you are free to hire your own.

Security

A security guard can be added to your event for $65.00 per hour

Right in the heart of South Yarra, just off Chapel Street, getting here is a breeze.

We’re a 1-minute walk from the Wilson St/Chapel Street #48 tram stop and a 10-minute walk from South Yarra train station.

There are plenty of parking options nearby, with free on street parking available outside Play Zone and surrounding streets and affordable parking a 2 minute walk away at the Jam Factory, starting and $2 on weekdays and a flat rate of $7 for all day weekend parking.
